The Weather was good and St Ives as congenial as ever, the Restaurants get better and better, the pasties arent bad either.
This year saw two Knees ups Corrina and Heathers do at the Sheaf of Wheat, and the usual one at the Isso Bar next door.
No need to go into details about the celebrations or commiseration session at the Isso Bar after the Grading, but someone told me the next morning, he thinks he had a good time.
It didnt seem to effect the numbers on the mat on Monday though or the quality of the Judo, amazing, I must be getting old.
This year also saw the greatest numbers attending and its getting dangerously close to being necessary to limit the course so anyone thinking of coming next year would be well advised to book in advance
John Smith and Simon Moss took the randori sessions this year, and the randori was again of the highest order, we wish John well in his New career
in NewZealand where he takes up a post teaching Judo.
The kata World Champions Andy Jones and Jerry Robinson gave a flawless demonstration of Nage No Kata that thrilled a knowledgeable audience, seeing the kata performed in this way forms lasting images.
